Project Coordinator (Construction/Electrical field)

Position Overview

Veracity Electric is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator supports electrical construction projects by maintaining accurate project documentation, coordinating materials and equipment, assisting with budget tracking, and facilitating communication between the office and field teams. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and finance teams to ensure projects are organized, compliant, and completed efficiently from project start through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and project logs
  • Enter and maintain project data such as budgets, cost codes, purchase orders, and financial records in systems including Project Sight and Spectrum
  • Process and track Change Order Requests (CORs) and assemble supporting documentation
  • Assist Project Managers with budget tracking, cost projections, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate ordering, delivery, and tracking of electrical materials and equipment
  • Prepare and track submittal packages, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications
  • Maintain subcontractor documentation including contracts, W9s, certificates of insurance, and vendor setup forms
  • Support communication between project managers, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and office staff
  • Ensure compliance with general contractor requirements, permits, and contract specifications
  • Assist with project closeout documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and final financial reconciliation
  • Follow company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate records across project systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent industry experience (preferred, not required)
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or project engineering
  • Experience in electrical or commercial construction preferred
  • Familiarity with construction management systems such as Project Sight, Spectrum, Procore, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
